Basketball Journey/Summary:

I played collegiate basketball at Vanderbilt University (2000-2004), was captain of the silver medal USA Team at the Pan-American Games (2003), and played professional basketball in the WNBA (Indiana Fever 2004-2005) as well as internationally in Spain & Australia from 2004-2009. After retiring from playing, I went on to coach at the high school and college level.

Why you’re excited/passionate about Uru:

Basketball gave me incredible opportunities and experiences to see the world. I am grateful that I had the guidance through my agent to find opportunities and to educate me about the possibilities that were out there. However, that is not the case for every athlete and in every sport. Uru changes that. Uru provides a platform that provides education, support and resources to help athletes and teams connect. Uru provides athletes with the opportunity to continue to compete, to continue their career and to reach their dreams!

Advice you’d give to the basketball community:

Work harder than anyone. Do the small things. Be Present. Learn from every practice and every game. Be the BEST teammate. Stay humble and positive. This is a recipe for success.
