Hometown/Country: Moorpark, California
Current Team: Mannheimer HC
I started playing hockey when I was five years old in my hometown Moorpark, CA. With ambitions to move abroad and test my potential against some of the best in the world, I made my first move abroad when I was 15 years old. A host family in Amsterdam was kind enough to put me up. I spent six months with them and played U16 youth hockey at Amsterdam Hockey & Bandy Club. That was the start of my international career abroad and since then I have played in England, New Zealand, and Germany. Each experience was special in its own way and allowed me to learn and grow as an individual on and off the field.
Why you’re passionate about Uru:
A one of a kind platform that helps me globally connect with people in the hockey community.
Advice you give to the hockey community:
I encourage every hockey player/coach to have an overseas experience. Meeting new people and immersing yourself in a foreign culture can be life changing. Why not do it while playing a sport you enjoy?!
