Uru Sports is a venture-backed, early-stage sports technology startup recently backed by Comcast NBCUniversal SportsTech. We founded Uru Sports to empower athletes to reach their full potential off the field of play as they transition into their next chapter.

We are working with a rapidly growing sports tech company to find an Account Manager.

As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in building and nurturing relationships with clients, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our cutting-edge sports technology solutions. If you have a strong interest in sports, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for problem-solving, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of sports technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients, ensuring they fully utilize and optimize our sports tech solutions.
  • Client Feedback: Gather client feedback and communicate it to the product development team, contributing to the enhancement of our products.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team, providing support during the sales process, including demonstrations and client presentations.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status, sales activities, and client interactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in account management, customer service, or sales, preferably in the sports or technology industry.
  • Athlete experience is a plus (professional, olympic, collegiate).
  • Sports Enthusiast: Passion for sports and a keen interest in sports technology trends.
  • Team Player: Collaborative, able to work effectively within a team and across departments.
  • Customer-Focused: Have a genuine desire to help clients succeed.
  • Sales Skills: Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques is a plus.
