They are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations and contribute to the company’s growth and success.

Position Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organization, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the tech or sports industries, combined with exceptional strategic thinking and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support overall business objectives and drive sustainable growth.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the budgeting process, including the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, implementing robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Investment Management: Oversee investment activities, including capital allocation and management of the company’s investment portfolio.
• Operational Efficiency: Implement financial systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and support scalability.
• Stakeholder Relations: Manage relationships with investors, auditors, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in the tech or sports industries is highly preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or MBA is highly desirable.
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to drive financial performance and support business growth.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in financial management software and tools.
• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to a diverse audience.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
