About the Company:
Our client is a distinguished financial services company founded by a former female basketball player. The company operates across various locations and is dedicated to empowering clients with comprehensive financial planning services. They are looking for a dedicated and experienced Certified Financial Planner to join their team and contribute to their mission of helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Position Overview:
The Certified Financial Planner will be responsible for providing personalized financial planning services, including retirement planning, personal financial planning, and other financial advisory services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven ability to attract and earn new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning Services: Provide comprehensive financial planning services to clients, including retirement planning, personal financial planning, and other financial advisory services.
- Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored advice.
- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to attract and earn new business, expanding the client base.
- Investment Advice: Offer strategic investment advice and manage client portfolios to maximize returns and minimize risks.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and develop customized financial plans for clients.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial planning activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent certification in financial planning.
- Experience: Proven experience in finance and financial planning, with a track record of attracting and earning new business.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of retirement planning and personal financial planning.
- Skills: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
- Mindset: Competitive mindset, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with financial planning software is a plus.
- Athletic Background: Former athletic experience is also nice to have.
