About the Team:

Our client is an exciting and rapidly growing sports tech scale-up with a global presence. Headquartered in Europe, they have recently secured Series A funding and are now focused on expanding their reach in North America by building a team based in the US. The company is driven by a talented group that shares a deep passion for sports, technology, and collaboration. This team is on a thrilling journey as they partner with some of the most respected names in the sports media landscape.

Position Overview:

As the Senior Sales Manager for our client, you will be responsible for selling solutions related to sports video recording, analysis, and broadcasting. Your primary focus will be on the North American market, specifically targeting elite clubs, leagues, and federations. This position offers an exciting growth opportunity, allowing you to join the company at an early stage as they expand in North America. The plan is that one day you will have the chance to build a team under this role. In this position. You will report to and work closely with the Director of North American Sales.

Key Role Expectations:

  • Meet & Exceed Revenue Goals : Closes deals and hits targets. 
  • Develop Effective Strategies for Enterprise Sales: Thinks big, is creative and leans on knowledge of enterprise sales - selling to many with one sale.
  • Drive Entire Sales Process: Prospecting, leading product demos and presentations, negotiating terms and pricing, and closing.
  • Partner with both Marketing & Customer Success Teams: Creates and leads membership sales prospect event efforts, including event activation, and event ROI. Then partner with Customer Success to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation and ongoing support. 
  • Manage Forecast & CRM: Using Salesforce and Hubspot, manages all sales activity and forecasts. 
  • Build Network: Networks effectively attending industry events and presenting when needed, showing up always with high character representing the brand.
  • Continuous Learning: Participates in sales training and self improvement.

Skills & Experience You Will Bring:

  • Sports Knowledge & Network: Passion and knowledge about sports and technology so effectively can relate to, and communicate with, our potential customers.
  • Industry Sales Leadership Experience: 5+ years of sales with proven track record of success from B2B Sales in Sports Tech. 
  • Executive Presence: Gravitas, exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and solutions to diverse audiences and executives. 
  • High Capacity Teamplayer: Ability to work alongside the leadership team to reach success, as well as take on a lot of administrative work personally. 
  • Innovative: Proactive and creative within our clients dynamic environment with high growth potential.

Location & Physical Requirements:

  • Remote though ideally East Coast / New York
  • Mandatory working hours: 9am - 5pm EST
  • Occasional domestic and international travel required for team retreats and industry events
