Our Uru Team is passionate about bringing transparency, knowledge, and connections to the sporting world. Together, we combine our knowledge and networks to help amplify athlete’s dreams and make them a reality.
Our Team has strong global networks from playing professionally overseas. We are also fortunate to have a seasoned tech entrepreneur, strong advisory board, and corporate partners.
CEO & Founder
McCallister was named an All-American while playing for the University of Michigan, and she played for the USA at the Jr. World Cup in Germany. Post graduating college, she played for six different teams across the world, competing throughout South America, Europe and Australia. She was on teams that played in England’s National Championship, the European Club Championship in the Netherlands, and the Australian Hockey League in Perth.
While competing overseas and searching for new opportunities, Ainsley experienced a barrier-ridden marketplace that lacked transparent knowledge. She became passionate about helping other athletes find great competing opportunities across the world. “Uru, is the platform that I wish I had when I was a competitive athlete.”
VP of Marketing
Berger played varsity Volleyball at the University of Denver. After getting her MBA at DU, she worked in market research and brand strategy, developing quantitative and qualitative research strategies for various international organizations.
“As an athlete, I wish I had a way to learn more about the world of international, professional sports. For such a fun and popular sport, volleyball is really lacking a US presence beyond the collegiate level. Uru offers a way to provide more information on various sports on a global scale.”
Head of Design
Harris was a varsity soccer player at the University of Michigan, multi-year captain and played 5 years as semi-pro. He was named Crain’s 20 in their 20’s & former CEO of a non-profit in Detroit.
Our Uru Ambassador Team (Uru A-Team) is made up of athletes and coaches who know what it’s like to play globally, play under pressure, and play as a team. With their guidance, we are building our app to be something “they wish they had” during their sports journey, and help share their own experiences to our hockey community.
