APi Group, a leading provider of construction and industrial services, is committed to cultivating the next generation of leaders in the industry. Our Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a highly selective initiative designed to identify, nurture, and develop future leaders within APi Group. We are seeking motivated, adaptable, and forward-thinking individuals to join our LDP, an intensive program that offers a unique opportunity to explore diverse facets of our business and prepare for leadership roles.

Program Overview: 

The APi Group Leadership Development Program is a comprehensive and immersive experience aimed at grooming future leaders. LDP participants undergo a 7-week rotation at 7 different APi Group companies, allowing them to gain in-depth insights into various business operations, leadership styles, and industry sectors. During each rotation, participants engage in hands-on learning, collaborate on meaningful projects, and receive mentorship from seasoned executives. Candidates in the LDP must be open to relocation, as the program offers exposure to different locations and company cultures within the APi Group family.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rotational Experience: Participate in a series of 7-week rotations at different APi Group companies. Gain exposure to diverse roles, departments, and projects within the organization.
  • Business Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of APi Group’s business units, industry trends, and market dynamics. Analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate on strategic initiatives.
  • Leadership Development: Receive mentorship and coaching from senior executives. Engage in leadership training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and strategic thinking.
  • Project Management: Lead and contribute to meaningful projects during each rotation. Apply problem-solving skills, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver impactful solutions to real-world challenges.
  • Networking: Build a robust professional network within APi Group. Interact with leaders, peers, and mentors. Attend networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings to establish connections and stay updated on industry developments.
  • Feedback and Evaluation: Receive regular feedback and performance evaluations from supervisors and mentors. Use feedback to enhance skills, address development areas, and refine leadership capabilities.
  • Relocation: Be open to relocation to different locations based on the program’s rotational structure. Embrace diverse work environments and adapt to different company cultures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field 
  • Experience: Previous internships, co-op experiences, or entry-level roles in related fields are advantageous.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in diverse work environments, adapt to change, and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ambition: Strong desire to grow into leadership roles within APi Group.
